I’m sorry if this sounds like I’m demanding but will you be releasing a smaller sized version of the show? But if you won’t be it’s okay. Thank you for this!
We would like to, but between me and the other person in the group, we don’t have enough bandwidth to release and seed more than 1 version of each episode. We figured releasing a 1280×720 version would be best, since people could just re-encode it themselves to make smaller or whatever. I know twrev-Doremi offers a standard definition XviD encode as well, so you could check that one out.
I’ve already seen theirs and I wanted to try out your group’s version before deciding on which I will follow to the end . On that note I’m a complete idiot in encoding, could you teach me how to re-encode it? or at least a link? Sorry for bothering you!
A fairly easy to use program is MeGUI. It provides a graphical UI for the common encoders like xvid and h264. There’s a bunch of walkthroughs over at the doom9 forums for MeGUI, I suggest taking a look at them .
